Speech on Save trees

Speech on Save trees
Trees are being cut down recklessly that we are paving way towards difficult times in the future. Saving trees can save our future and our planet and there are various ways in which we can do the same.
Trees perform very important functions in the environment. They replenish the supply of atmospheric oxygen that sustains life. Through the process of photosynthesis, all plant life takes in carbon-dioxide and gives out oxygen. This is a very crucial process that maintains balance in the atmosphere and also sustains life. Trees, especially forest cover attract rainfall and precipitation. They also provide a host of other benefits such as fruits, medicinal roots, barks, leaves, shade and so on. These benefits cannot be substituted by any other form of environmental elements.
The need for saving trees can never be exaggerated. It is, even today, considered a symbol of a community’s effort to save and protect their environment and their trees. Preventing deforestation is the first step towards saving trees. It takes years for trees to grow that tall. The declining number of trees in our urban spaces can be a cause for the increasing heat that we experience. Planting trees on very existing piece of empty land should be kept as a goal and trees should be planted in as many numbers as possible.
Trees are important for the survival of the plant and the organisms that live on it.  Let’s plant more trees and make this planet a more green place.
