Reduce reuse recycle or 3 R’s are three ways to manage waste by cutting down amount of waste created, conserve energy, natural resource and landfill space.

Cuts down on growing waste: In this world, we cannot grow the waste to zero or stop its production. But we can reduce, reuse and recycle a lot of waste especially the organic waste in the form of compost to cut down the growing waste. This in turn will reduce landfill waste that results in a host of other problems.

Reduces waste during manufacturing: Industrial waste is the largest contributors to increasing waste and poses a real challenge in its disposal. With reuse and recycling of by-products generated at a factory, we can significantly reduce manufacturing waste. Also adopting new techniques and manufacturing units that are efficient in generating less waste will help the cause.

Promotes sustainable development: With rapid waste generation happening today because of steadfast development around the world, reduce reuse recycle is important to keep the pace of development going while ensuring that our planet doesn’t become a huge dumping ground. Adopting the 3 R’s methods will put a control on waste production and conserve natural resources for future.
