Fruits constitute the foods that are made available in nature. Although not necessarily all fruits available in nature are edible or consumable, fruits are generally associated with flavourful foods, especially for children.
Mostly fruits are sweet in taste with some fruits being somewhat sour. Fruits should be eaten by everyone for their good health.

Examples of Fruits:

  • Mango
  • Apple
  • Banana
  • Orange
  • Raspberries
  • Grapefruit
  • Tomatoes
  • Limes
  • Apricots

Fruit products

Fruits can also be consumed in the form of juices, jellies, jams, and other preserves. Applesauce is a regularly consumed apple product. Compotes made out of peaches and plums are also popular for regular consumption. Fruits can be candied or dried to preserve longer.
Fruit salads make good meals or desserts. All cultures have their favorite recipes using fruits. Fruits shakes, ice-creams, sorbets and cocktails are of course very popular too.

Benefits of Fruits:

Fruits have very different types of benefits. They are very important for a balanced diet. One should eat fruit every day to be active physically and mentally. Some of them are:
  • They make you healthy.
  • They are very tasty.
  • They make you immune to different diseases.
  • They help you fight against cancer.
  • Preferably, consume fruits on a daily basis for a better life.

Fruits have the following elements:
  1. Minerals.
  2. Vitamin A, B, E
  3. Ascorbic acid
  4. Folic acid.
  5. Iron
  6. Potassium
  7. Sulphur

Fruits should be eaten daily. They are very healthy for everyone, and a person of every age should consume it. Doctors recommend it to everyone nowadays for better health. When you are ill, you should consume it more. So eat your fruit every day, and this will increase your lifespan. Moreover, they are very delicious. They are the best form of snack providing numerous nutrients along with nourishment and taste.
